Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you are welcomed by your safari guide. You begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traveling through the picturesque landscapes of western Uganda. Lunch is taken en route.

You arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, near the park’s gorilla trekking sector. The rest of the day is spent relaxing and preparing for gorilla trekking. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge near Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi  and proceed to Mgahinga National Park

After an early breakfast, you head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Guided by experienced rangers, you trek through the dense rainforest to locate a habituated gorilla family. Once found, you spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking

After breakfast, you transfer to the Park, headquarters and ave a briefing and prepare for golden monkey tracking. The golden monkey trek typically lasts 2–4 hours through bamboo forests on the volcanic slopes. You observe these rare, colorful monkeys in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight in Mgahinga.

Day 4: Return to Entebbe

After the morning breakfast, begin the return journey to Entebbe, stopping for lunch en route. The drive is long (approximately 8–10 hours), so overnight in Entebbe may be needed depending on your flight schedule. This marks the end of the 4-day Uganda Gorilla & Golden Monkey Safari.
